Our Welcome Team creates a warm and inviting atmosphere by setting up signage, greeting visitors at all entry points, and serving as the point of contact for first-time guests. We strive to make everyone feel at home from the moment they arrive.
Audio/Visual
Our Audio-Visual Team ensures a high-quality worship experience by producing the live stream, directing cameras, managing sound, and creating slides for worship and preaching. We work behind the scenes to make sure every service is clear, engaging, and accessible both in-person and online.
Social Media
Our Social Media Team keeps our church community connected by managing our Facebook, Instagram, and website. We share updates, events, and important information to keep members and visitors informed and engaged.
Local Missions
Our Local Mission Team is committed to serving our neighbors in Western North Carolina through community projects and outreach. We provide support, resources, and hands-on help to meet local needs and share God’s love close to home.
Foreign Missions
Our Foreign Mission Team is dedicated to spreading God’s love globally through mission trips and ongoing support for foreign ministries. We serve communities in need, share the Gospel, and provide resources to help strengthen faith and improve lives around the world.
bereavement
Our Bereavement Team is here to provide comfort and support to those who have recently lost a loved one. We offer compassionate care through prayer, meals, and emotional support, helping families navigate this difficult time with love and understanding.
Building + Grounds
Our Building and Grounds Team keeps our church property safe and welcoming by setting up tables and chairs for events, maintaining the grounds, and preparing sidewalks with ice melt before snow. They handle the behind-the-scenes work that helps our church function smoothly.
Decorating
The decorating team at Western Carolina Church transforms spaces for holidays and events, creating warm, inviting atmospheres that reflect the spirit of each occasion. From festive Christmas displays to elegant Easter arrangements and seasonal décor, they enhance worship experiences with creativity, thoughtful details, and a passion for bringing celebrations to life.
